  • Author: Nadia
  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Description

A creamy, savory, and easy-to-make baked spinach artichoke dip that is ready in just 20 minutes. Perfect for parties, game day, or a quick weeknight treat, this vegetarian dip uses simple ingredients for a rich, golden, and addictive flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 oz (280g) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 14 oz (400g) jarred artichoke hearts, drained and quartered
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup (240g) full-fat sour cream
  • 1/2 cup (120g) mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 cups (170g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Thaw frozen spinach and squeeze out all excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel or paper towels. Drain and chop jarred artichoke hearts into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth with no lumps.
  4. Stir in minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
  5. Fold in the squeezed spinach and chopped artichoke hearts until evenly distributed.
  6. Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish. Pour the mixture into the dish and spread evenly.
  7. Top with remaining Parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly with golden spots. Optionally broil for 1-2 minutes for extra browning.
  9. Let cool for 2-3 minutes before serving.

Notes

Squeeze the spinach thoroughly to prevent a watery dip. Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for smooth mixing. This dip can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before baking. It does not freeze well due to dairy separation.
