Easy Charcuterie Board: Perfect Prosciutto Roses

  • Author: Nadia
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

An elegant and foolproof charcuterie board featuring rolled prosciutto roses, brie cheese, crackers, and fresh fruit. This simple assembly takes less than 30 minutes and requires no cooking, making it perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces (225 grams) Prosciutto di Parma (thinly sliced)
  • 8 ounces (225 grams) Brie Cheese
  • 6 ounces (170 grams) Sturdy Crackers (e.g., water crackers, sesame seed, or wheat thins)
  • 1 cup (150 grams) Fresh Grapes (red seedless preferred)
  • 23 large Fresh Figs (or dried apricots/berries)
  • 1/2 cup (60 grams) Marcona Almonds (or roasted cashews/walnuts)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) Honey

Instructions

  1. Prep the Cheese: Cut the brie wheel into six equal wedges or bite-sized cubes. Arrange them on the board in a circle or triangle, leaving space around them.
  2. Make the Prosciutto Roses: Lay a slice of prosciutto flat on a cutting board. Gently roll it up from one end to the other into a loose, elegant roll. Repeat with three more slices to make four roses. Place them on the board as the focal point.
  3. Add the Crackers: Arrange crackers around the cheese and prosciutto. Fan them out or stack them in small piles to add texture and height.
  4. Fill in the Gaps: Tuck grapes into spaces between crackers. Place figs near the cheese. Sprinkle almonds over the board. Drizzle honey over the cheese or place it in a small bowl.
  5. Final Touches: Step back and check for balance. Add more crackers or fruit if needed. Adjust prosciutto roses if they have slumped. Ensure the board looks effortless but carefully arranged.

Notes

[‘Serve at room temperature for best flavor. Take cheese and meat out of the fridge 30 minutes before serving.’, ‘Do not assemble the board too far in advance as crackers will get soggy and cheese will dry out.’, ‘Roll prosciutto loosely to prevent roses from falling apart.’, ‘Balance colors and textures (crunchy, creamy, chewy) for visual appeal.’]
